FAQs
Do I need to bring my own mat and props for yoga and/or workshop?
You’re welcome to bring your own mat, but we also provide mats, blocks, bolsters, and other props for your use.
I’m new to yoga. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed for all levels, and teachers will offer modifications and guidance to support beginners as well as experienced practitioners. If you would prefer to practice before joining a class, you can choose to sign up to our Vinyasa Yoga for Absolute Beginners Guide online, designed for new yogis who are curious about trying a studio but might feel a little shy.
What should I wear?
Comfortable yoga outfit or clothing that allows you to move freely. Bare feet are best for practice. For ZenThai Shiatsu, please wear lightweight, comfortable clothing such as long pants and a t-shirt or top with sleeves. This ensures ease of movement and also respects the practice by minimising unnecessary skin-to-skin contact during bodywork. Sessions are performed fully clothed on a mat.
How do I book a class?
You can book online through our website. Simply select “Book Now” to select your appointment and follow the steps to purchase. Walk-ins are not available. Please book ahead as space is limited.
Where are you located?
We’re located in Taringa, just 10 minutes from Brisbane CBD and easily accessible from Toowong, St Lucia, Indooroopilly, Auchenflower, Milton, Rosalie, and surrounding suburbs.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes, we offer tailored corporate or private group yoga sessions on request, either at the home studio or your venue. Please contact us about your event and we will get back to you asap.
What is ZenThai Shiatsu?
ZenThai Shiatsu is a bodywork modality blending traditional Thai massage, Zen Shiatsu, and osteopathic techniques. It’s performed fully clothed on a mat and uses movement, stretching, and acupressure to restore balance and release tension.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking in the basement and around the building.
How early should I arrive?
Arrive 10-15 minutes before class to get comfortable.
